Proper disposal of pest infested bedding

Got a mild mite infestation, should I compost egg nesting material? Thought I could bury the bedding a foot or so in my bin. Thoughts?

You could burn it or have it hauled off to the dump in your trash can, maybe.

Why would they want mite infested nest bedding?

When it's been spread on a field and ploughed in they wouldn't be much of a problem.
