Hi new chicken loving friends!

My name is Gail, I live in Crestline, CA and just got my very first ever bunch of 13 chickens. My husband built a coop for them and my 3 little boys, ages 6, 9 & 10, are so excited. We got 2 of each of the Wyandottes, Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Amaraucana, Delaware and 1 Well Summer (she was an after thought, MUCH younger (oops!) and our favorite).
Looking forward to lots of eggs and fun from our new pets.

I have been experiencing and researching all sorts of chick/chicken things for 8 days, now. It's been a lot to learn & take in!

I have RIR. I love them so much, they are great layers and they are beautiful.
I also love Wyandottes and I'm going to get some silver-laced later this year!
