What does "healthy" poop look like? I ask because I have had parrots for years (but not chickens) and the litmus test for parrot health is the appearance of their droppings. In parrots, for instance, you are looking for a solid element, usually green, a clear liquid element (urine, I suppose), and a white element. I notice that chicken droppings also seem to have three elements to them, but in my chickens the color of the solid ranges quite a bit...from almost a dark grey to what looks like slightly processed grower feed. I do understand that diet what have a lot to do with it, but is there anything in particular to look for?
Thanks in advance,
DD
