Proper way to disinfect coop

Would love to hear everyone’s methods on how to disinfect their coops.

There seems to be so many methods and opinions!

What are you disinfecting against?
Simple cleaning and leaving vacant will rid it of most diseases in about 6 weeks. Mareks your stuck with as with parasites unless you use a parasite spray for birds..

If your flock has not had a diagnosed disease, no reason to 'disinfect'.

If you're just a germophobe, chickens might not be for you
