Pros and cons of keeping roos

PROS
1 They look pretty, cool, and different (not to mention beautiful)
2 I love waking up to the crowing (just not at 4 AM)
3 You have them if you want to experiment w/ breeding.
4 It is so cool to see a good rooster take care of his hens.
CONS
1 Having more than one can result in spurring.
2 Hens can get beat up depending on the circumstances and personality of the rooster.
3 Some roosters (especially hatchery bought ones) learn to spur people.
