I have a smooth frizzle roo (ie, is heterozygous for frizzle, but feathers are smooth) and a frizzle roo. Both have equal interest in the hens, and equal opportunity. I have read that straight frizzle breedings can result in other mutations, such as lack of feathers. All I have done with my frizzles is show them, and sorta try to get more, but I had to depend on broody hens that weren't smart enough to sit on the eggs. Now we are gonna get an incubator, and I am a little more concerned. Should I limit access to one roo or the other?
