So i have a young little fiesty silkie mix if im to near always trys to peck at me lol which u have been trying to stop well twice she went for me today before she could even get chance my mango gave her a peck each time which stopped her anyone else experienced this lol fiesty chick first pic mango second

We have a pullet who recently started laying who is the sweetest chicken and loves to be held. We also have a few hormonal cockerels (who are now confined to a run). While they were still out free ranging one of them decided to try and challenge out 10 year old son. Our beautiful, sweet pullet full on attacked that cockerel and sent him packing. I love that girl.

I had a hen that looked like your silky mix, she was silky and EE she used to always peck me and I thought she was a boy. But she just wanted attention. After I started to pick her up and love her she mellowed out.

Shes a silkie cross mottled pekin called gilbert i thought she was a roo name stuck aha lol i have four of same hatch 2 silkie cross pekin 2 silkie cross serama born july 2020 shes only one hates attention and dances around me lol
