Protruding vent

This lil chick came to me with pasty butt and protuding vent. She's 2 weeks now, I've had her since she was 1 day old. I bath her every other day to clean her up but not sure what to do for her vent. I've tried Prep H and nothing is helping. She's eating and drinking fine. She cries when she poops like it hurts. Any suggestions welcomed!!

Is she constipated? What do her poops look like? Has it ever had pasty butt? What is your brooder temperature with a thermometer under the warmest spot? It should be about 80 F with a cooler spot to go to. Too much heat will cause constipation.

Thank you for your response. She had pasty butt when I picked her up. The temperature is right and the other 9 chicks are doing great. She isn't constipated and it looks brown, not runny or bloody, same as other chicks. She's doing good just very swollen.

Is this a protuding vent? I was able to push it back in but now looks even more swollen.
