I have never seen chickens that seem to like to be held and petted like these do. They don't even try to get away when you go to touch them. I am going to build their new home today. I almost hate to put them outside.lol

It often surprises people how friendly and attention-loving many chickens are. This is not abnormal, don't worry! Chickens make fantastic pets. And they will likely enjoy it outside. You can always bring them in to enjoy and pet whenever you want, though.

Also, ya know what stinks? My dad doesn't allow my chickens inside.
So, when he's at work, I bring in the chickens!
I have some seramas living in the house.
They're old enough that they could go outside...but why would I want them to?
I like to bring a chicken or two in at random and wave them in my family's faces for no apparent reason and get them to say how nice and pretty and sweet the bird is.
(For the record, I'm almost twenty-three. I doubt this is normal behavior, but I think it might be a side effect of chicken addiction.)
I love Seramas! I really want some, but I don't know if I'll ever get them until I grow up and move out.
Mostly, my dad won't let chickens inside because he's convinced that they stink and they'll make the whole house stink. Really though, it's the poo that stinks. Once it's all washed off, chickens have that nice, sorta hay-like smell.
