PRRTECTING THE AZALIA BUSHES

I AM MAKING A NEW RUN,BUT THERE ARE 8 AZALIA BUSHES IN THE RUN.HOW DO I PROTECT THEM FROM THE CHICKENS?

I'm afraid to say that chickens will just destroy anything like that that they can get to. The only options are fence them in, fence them out, build the run elsewhere, or dig up the azaleas and plant them elsewhere. Or just let the chickens have a field day destroying them.
