I may hatch next year. If I do, it'll be barnyard mixes or guineas.

I thought abou those too but they sound like a lot more work than chickens. Also I read they are LOUD. This is random but I don't want to get quail but If I would (and it probably won't) I would get King quail or Celadons

They are very loud. I don't mind their noises, though. We have a lot of acreage, plus the hills here seem to bounce the sound around so it's not as abrasive.

My guineas are very loud, but they're hilarious. They stand on my mom's garden roof thing each evening and they stand there laughing at me! I think they're less work than the chickens, but you also have to go egg hunting every day for their nests.

Today for me is a very boring/not busy at all day. We have started decorating for Christmas already.

Yeah, on Halloween my mom said something about how we were going to start decorating. On Thanksgiving, we start doing Secret Santa for my big family!

Today for me is a very boring/not busy at all day. We have started decorating for Christmas already.

We got our first snow today. Didn't stick thank goodness.

We were moving pine needles, sticks, & leaves in to the chicken runs, they were long over due for more run litter. We have a massive pile.

Once we're done with the needles, gotta clean the coops.
