Public Hearing in Fox Lake IL

Thanks to a local boy scout and his dad there is going to be a public hearing regarding the keeping of backyard chickens in Fox Lake IL!! The sub-commitee that was appointed conducted their research and found no opposition and the ordinance change is now being drafted. Please come out and show your support if you are in the area. There will be a press release to highlight the boy scout connection and FAQ flyers to answer concerns! The date is October 3rd at 6pm. The address is 66 Thillen Dr. in Fox Lake IL. Soooo excited!!

I cannot wait! Being in Wauconda and hoping to assist in the writing of an ordinance, this is very exciting! Maybe I can just mimic Fox Lake and get the ball rolling more easily.

Hey Fox Lake friends, I have been dying to watch the Mad city chickens documentary, and it just hasn't come to these parts!

It's a humorous documentary. lighthearted and fun for the whole family. In a few days, I'll have a movie poster designed which you can plaster about to have anyone who is interested come watch. The movie is free but donations are welcome

BTW I emailed a form into the village addressed to zoning leaving my gmail if they had any questions about backyard hens. I have yet to hear a response, but the next time they meet for drafting of ordinances, please let them know- in case it didn't get through to them. I don't want them to think I disappeared after speaking up in behalf of fox lake's BYC
