puffy cheeks

It's odd that its not draining down the nostril. I mean its odd that there is the build up in the first place. But it's extra odd that its not draining. Something blocking the way? But if the duck is breathing without wheezing then there is no blockage I would imagine. So why not draining?

Some other part, perhaps? What's the anatomy of soft tissue in a duck's head? Could it be something to do with the esophagus or mouth instead?

as far as I can tell there is nothing blocking the way he looks just like the rest except for the swelling. And no wheezing.

Oh wow I have been in the hay field all day boy I've missed alot I'm going to try to answer all the questions hope I don't miss anything his face was already swollen when we got him. We aspirated this time not the first time so I don't think it's environmental. I am using tylan 200 I did the injectable because I was told it would work better and faster I'm learning as I go and trying to do the best I can by him. We wound up getting 7 cc ' s of pus out of his face. He has no discharge at all his eyes are clear his mouth looks good no coughing sneezing or anything like that. He eats well drinks well and chases his girls all over the place so he acts like he feels fine. We did squeeze his checks and nothing leaked out of his eyes or nose, it did make his eyes bulge. It was squishy and not at all hard.[@]Lacrystol what kind of pictures do you need

Give me a side view. I think Tylan. Will work fine if giving orally. Can u weigh him

How do you check the ears? I compared him to one of my other girls and everything looks the same. Inside his mouth and his nares. I appreciate the help this is my first set of ducks ever

That's why I want to have a side view I'm wondering if his ears r ok with discharge from the eyes that tells me one thing.

It is a little buzzard for u you squeeze it and nothing coming out of the nostrils. I would try flushing them and then squeezing it again. The flushing should most definitely loosen up any blockages. But it sounds like more then just a sinus infection with the eye buldging perhaps he has a couple of things going on like an eye infection on top of the sinus or just and eye infection that is traveling down into the sinus cavity.

Something to consider.

400
He doesn't sneeze at all. He doesn't have any discharge from the eyes or anywhere when I went and got this pic we looked at his ears and I guess they look okay nothing coming out of them anyways. Something I notices this time is if you push on his cheek and move your fingers backwards towards his neck it makes him swallow. I looked online and found an article about flushing his sinuses with a needle and saline solution is that what you would recommend.
