puffy cheeks

are you stabbing him and extracting the fluids out? If so, I would stop doing that, wait a day, if it is STILL filling up, Let's try to Flush him out. I would also be prepared to give him Tylan Orally.

Please give me his weight.. Right now he looks good..

Sorry I was out of commission for a while, had to go pick Husband up from the hospital he just got Open hear surgery..

We just drained it that one time I talked about before so far we haven't done anything else with him except bringing him inside and trying to clean it in the tub he weighs 4.5 pounds

Okay, I think we all got confused on the timeline (at least, I did!)

Let me see if this is right:

May 5: you started the thread. You bought Alvin and his cheeks were swollen
May 6-10: Put Alvin on 5 day course of Tylan 200 injections, cheeks went down to almost normal
May 29: Swelling restarted
June 5: Used needle to remove pus. Looking better on June 9
June 10: Cheeks swollen again
June 11 to today: Baths and head dunking to clean nose out
June 13: cheeks back down

Did I miss anything?

Also wishing a speedy recovery for your husband Lacrystol.

I believe that's what's going on, seems like keeping him clean is working as far as clearing him out. Just takes some time, he was a dirty little guy. I wonder though if he did the dunking once she brought him his lady friend???

Wonder if she showed him the ropes..

I think that about covers it. It's been hard to keep up lol

So bring him in the tub seems to be helping???
Yes it seemed to help I must admit I helped him a little. I told my husband we might have to bring him in on the regular and make sure he's cleaning up okay.

The warm water probably acted like a Steamer, and helped loosen up what ever it was that was clogging him. So technically he really didn't need to dunk if he did that's great it will ONLY speed things up, but the steam probably helped the most...LOL, I'm glad it worked for him. THATS GREAT, I would do it a couple of more days EVEN after the swelling has gone down, just to make sure he gets everything out of there.

He looks happy with his lady friend!!!....
