Puffy lump under ducks beak. Help

One of our ducks has developed this soft puffy lump under their beak. Does anybody know what it is and what we can do?

We think they might be sick as their beak is very warm to the touch

Is it hard or soft to the touch? Any break to the skin over it? Any discharge? Does the lump move freely when gently manipulated or is it fixed in place?

It's very soft to the touch, moves freely and I can't see any break in the skin. And no discharge.

Did you check under the tongue for anything lodged in there? Is a vet an option?

My wife had a look under his tongue the best she could but said she couldn't see anything there at all. Just looked like his tongue and nothing else

I'm thinking if an abscess it would be hard but not real sure about that. Could be an insect sting or bite? Do you have Benadryl? maybe give him some and see if it could be.

It's not an insect sting, we had to bring him inside because he hurt his leg and was being bullied by our other ducks.

It just kind of appeared out of the blue, he's eating and drinking good. I'll try and get some pictures before I leave for work
