Pull broken Cochin foot feather right before show?

We were cleaning up our hens for the kids' 4-H show at the county fair this week. Drop-off for poultry is tonight. Unfortunately we found a couple new broken feather on our large black cochin. She is a very good looking bird. Are we better off to leave the broken feather since we just noticed them or pull them? What about trimming the end so it is not so sharp?

Small local fairs don't care that much. The only grief they give me is crooked toes and not enough blue on silkie ear lobs.
