Was there ever a wound on the head? Maybe he took a hard peck and it's scar tissue that the body expelled. How old is he now? You noticed the bump whenever he was 4 weeks?

He is about 28 weeks now. And so far him getting pecked is the best idea so far lol.

It almost looks like the keratin that grows around the feathers, maybe it's the chicken version of scar tissue growing around an ingrown hair (feather)
