I do agree chick #1 is a pullet and chick #2 is a cockerel.

They're the same breed at the same age; your logic is flawed, because their combs are worlds apart - the pullet comb is still yellow as you see with leghorn pullets of that age, as well as being a different size, shape and arrangement of points. One is a pullet and one is a cockerel.A bit too young, however, to me,
#1 suspicious cockerel.
#2 likely cockerel.
Post pics in 3-4 weeks for reassessment.
I have leghorns, the girl’s comb grew large around 14-16 weeks old or so, before then, comb was super small and pale.
