My 8 month old (?) pullet is beating up my new 10 month old cockeral!
I thought I'd have to worry about him beating her up but I guess not. Because he was bleeding from the base of his comb, I took him out of the pen and have him sleeping in a box in the garage and will try to introduce him again tomorrow. I put some flour on his comb to stop the bleeding... Is there anything else I can do?

Flour is great for emergency bleeding, I've used it myself.
I think that when introducing them, you should let them be together in a neutral area. One that doesn't belong to your hen. And make sure your roo doesn't have any blood on him, it would be pure temptation

Okay. i'll have them meet in the garage or something. Thank you!

They'll need some time, but eventually he'll show her who is boss.

We had a china game roo introduced to the flock once that got the garbage beat out of him by our alpha black star hen.

After one week she was squatting for him.
