I have 5 month old pullets in with my hens and the young girls are just hanging out in the coop and more irratating some are just sitting in the next boxes. Sometimes 2 in one....not doing anything. I don't want them just hanging out in there when I have enough roosts and outside space for them. They are making a mess of the next boxes and dirtying my eggs. Anyone have any insight on how to fix this matter......?

If the pullets are new, the older hens are probably telling them who is boss. Hiding places outdoors would help. You may have to close off the nest boxes or even the coop during the day. If they don't have plenty of space, though, you may see some violence.
