Pullet Died, did she get too cold?

Could be anything really but I don't really think it would be the cold. They are hardy and when cold usually eat more food to compensate. Right now, temps in the 30's everyone sleeps outside no problem from 3 months old till 3 years old.

The temp in my coop was ZERO this morning when I woke up - and it was like that till around 8:30am.............

All my girls (and boy) were fine!

I finally decided to add a heat lamp on a timer - it will come on at 1am and run till 6am - we're having a real cold spell... tomorrow will be -19 with the wind chill (or just -2) Tonight actually isn't TOO bad, going down to 11, but the heat will kick on for them tonight, its a tiny heat lamp (ceramic bulb so no light)

ANyway, just so you know it wasn't the "cold" spell or leaving the door open!

There was a st. Barred rock pullet, 2 b. cochins that roosted above where they slept, 2 silkies that cuddled in the corner and her and the BO (same age) slept together by the door.
