Our new chickens were hatched end of Feb,we were told they should start laying in August. Today I found a shell less egg,the size of a green grape in the nesting box. It was firm, like the consistency of a water balloon, even had a mini yolk. Is this a pullet egg?

A pullet egg is normally in a fully formed shell but your experience isn't out of the ordinary.

That said, it may be a miracle of science for an 11 week old pullet to lay any kind of egg. 20-24 weeks is normal, 15-16 weeks is the earliest possible.
Are you sure they're all from late February?

I had a couple shell-less eggs last year. But, they were mostly full size. Maybe there is some other critter laying eggs in your coop? Maybe it was a freak of nature, a really young pullet laying a misformed egg. I bet weirder things have happened.

x2.. This is very odd. Is it possible that the egg is from another bird?
