Small pet vet that will treat chickens and has a flock of 50. She said tendons seemed to be fine. But noticed some muscle loss.Avian vet?
Could be soft tissue damage, tendon/ligaments.

Was thinking this is from favoring that leg.But noticed some muscle loss.
Nice to have a vet like that.Small pet vet that will treat chickens and has a flock of 50.
I've been fortunate with vets in my area. There are a few that will see chickens. The first one I went to for bumblefoot showed me how to treat and bandage the feet. Also ways to administer a pill. They where happy to share information, but I got the impression they only wanted me to come to them for big problems. That's what lead me to the most recent vet. She is highly recommended in the local chicken facebook group. Seemed super supportive and understanding that chicken can be just as loved as any other pet.Nice to have a vet like that.
I asked my vet if she could do a fecal on my birds when I first got them,
her face went pale and she said I don't do chickens.
I had a great vet for years here, the first I tried(emergency situation-long story),I've been fortunate with vets in my area.
