Pullet has not laid since nov 1 is it normal this time of year?

    She is healthy and running around like normal eating and drinking. She is not broody at least she is not sitting in a nest like i think a broody hen would and her feathers are not falling out so she is not molting as far as I can tell. She is around 7 1/2 months old.
    Want to add they are in a large enclosed run and I have not found any eggs laying around out there and she is not singing are talking like she wants to lay.

    Could she be molting and you aren't seeing it? A young pullet that molts usually only loses tail feathers, or something similar that is very mild.

    If not, it could just be the shorter days. Check her over for parasites though, just to be sure.
