Pullet having trouble laying?

My girls paced in front of the nesting boxes singing before they started laying. Then they would lay in a nesting box, pick a different one, test that one out, etc. It's hard to watch sometimes, but we just have to be patient. So far, my girls do the squat for a week before the laying starts, and practice for a day before starting.

Thanks, this is really helpful. I didn't want to be dropping the ball if something was actually wrong, but it sounds like they are doing normal preparatory things -- appreciate the feedback. It goes without saying that these are my first chickens, so basically everything is news to me!
