pullet in nestbox?

I went out to the coop today and one of my sexlink pullets was in one of the nest boxes.Does that mean anything? Is she thinking about laying? sorry I just realized this is management I ment to put it in laying and behaviors

She might be checking it out to see if it meets her needs. These behaviors sometimes signal they are ready, but they could still be weeks away. Hard to tell sometimes...
 
I had a pullet - a turken - in the nestbox for the first time today. She has made the biggest fuss for a couple of hours. She'd stick her head out and growl if I went into the coop. She was picking the hay up and tossing it on her back. Sqawking and carrying on, but yep! A pretty nice sized first egg from her.

It could be.... Mine started laying a week ago. I put some golf balls in the box about a week before that. They would move them around and sure enough, I finally got some eggs. It was the longest wait.
