Pullet just started to lay - one question

big red, don't leave a real egg in the nest because it may encourage egg pecking / eating.

I don't think the golf ball would be quite as tasty...

I just wanted to add, that if you want to check to see if it's her that's laying just check her vent. if she's laying it will be more oval and moist, if not it will be tighter.

Learding a lot tell me more. my hen s are 11mo. have had them for 12 days today one egg lots of noise. brough in egg not in frig.
Not golf ball. Look for white spot in egg. It might be a while because my rooster is only 13wk. I got him from a baby 2 or three days old . Silkie what 5 6 mo. Put fan and ice in Coop. Coop and run.
