Mae was advertised as a rir but I think she is hybrid as she is not the deep red of a rir,

Yeah, they look like red sexlinks, which may actually have RIR in their background.
Did you get them as chicks?

no the egg she laid this morning was normal thank goodness.

Spaghetti is my favorite too and I had to cut it out of my life! Major sadness lol. Your chickens will survive; I am lucky enough to work at a diner so I bring them home fruit scraps on a regular basis. Their favorite treat is shrimp tails and lobster carcasses (spoiled)!

They were 16 weeks when we got them from a farmer who breeds them, they started laying 3 weeks later we live in Ireland. I will google the red sexlinks thanks again aart you have been so helpful

Lol, will definately give the shrimp tails a try, might leave the lobster though, already the most expensive eggs i have ever eaten in my life

Lol, well let me clarify.... they get lobster carcasses on the holidays... we def don’t eat like that all the time!!! oh and the shrimp tails are always cooked
