Ehh I don’t. It’s a mix - the hatching was a project at elementary school. I’ll have to find the paper

really ya think so? that’d be great! I figured because of the comb it would be a cockerel.

Some breeds just have bigger combs, so that fact can make it hard to determine, but the pink color is what really says cockerel. Whatever her parents were, they were probably a breed that had a bigger comb than most breeds.

That makes sense. I’m a newbie. so I’m just learning breeds and what not. Sometimes I also think her/his comb looks reddish or I don’t know more pink than others? Lol but I’ve only got a couple to compare to ya know.

Yeah, see how it looks in week or so. Pullets combs don't pink up until a few weeks before they are ready to lay, so if it gets pink and puffs up a bit in the next couple weeks week or so it may be a cockerel. It really looks more like a pullet right now, though.
