Pullet...or...Cockeral????

Okay, I knew once I made my decision to get chicks straight run from a private breeder that we would have to play the wait and see game! I was not prepared for the TORTURE involved in playing the wait and see game! This is brutal and cruel and unusual punishment. LOL I wish I had a magic wand....my kids and I just want to KNOW who we can keep and who we have to find homes for....They are 4 weeks old now and we have our suspicions...but we have a mixed group and even though they are all around the same age (few days difference here and there) they are all developing at different rates. We will KNOW soon enough! LOL Thanks for listening to me vent.....just had to blither and get it off my chest! LOL

We have nine baby chicks and are playing the waiting game as well. We are hoping to get a nice rooster out of the nine and some laying hens. All other roosters will be put to good use

Yeah there are always risks when getting straight runs. I have 16 babies and im only sure about one of them being a pullet (i spent extra to make sure). ^^

I can't wait to see what gender they are, my fingers are crossed for hens though.
