Hello from New Braunfels, TX! Can y'all help me sex these babies? Daddy is a Colombian EE if that helps. They're 5.5 weeks old

From what I understand the red leakage is a male specific pattern. I don't see it on the second chick, but that could change.

What's mom? I think both are cockerels but as I often say, I'm a novice at sexing and EE can be deceptive.

I agree with BigBlue; the first seems to have pointy hackle feathers, and the second has that brighter colored comb.
Let us know how they turn out! Pictures in a couple more weeks...

Mom is either RIR, Brown Leghorn, or lavender orpington
