Pullet or Cockerel? Dumped Chicken

Someone dumped this poor bird at Wilco where I work. I offered to take it temporarily if it was indeed a cockerel so I could make sure it was taken care of until a good home could be found.

So far it hasn't crowed at all. It's also has a pretty good temperament. Some of my coworkers made sure to check on it during the day.

Interesting story on this bird. Someone called us yesterday to ask about where to take a rooster so my coworker mentioned another feed store that does and the customer hung up after saying "Okay!"
We think it was that person who dumped this pretty gal off to run around warehouse.

Yup. It does have a very large comb so whoever dumped her probably thought it was a rooster. Shoulda asked in BYC first!
