I recently purchased a few new pullets (and a cockerel) for my flock. The pecking order is being established, but man is it tough to witness. I keep separating them after the bullying gets to be too much - its probably not what I am supposed to do, but the young ones will hide into a corner while their butts get picked on by the older ladies. I just can't bare it!
Ok....here is my question....I want to make sure that the cockerel is just that and that the silver laced wyandotte is a pullet.
Can you all please help me verify pullet or cockerel on these two?
oh, they are roughly 4 months old.

many thanks!

Thank you all.....let me see if I got a better photo? They were all the "last picks" of the crew, so they are a bit beat up already. The two that I am showing both have had their back end feather picked off.

The barred one is a cockerel. The Barred rock??, has the wrong color legs, He could be hatchery bred ? Or possibly a black sex link The Wyandotte does look like a pullet
yeah, I just got them from a local hatchery.....more than likely a Wyandotte or a Black Sex Link (in regards to the cockerel) - that was what he had the most of, and what my other ladies are. I'm still learning for sure!
