Pullet or cockerel? Please

I’m pretty sure I have a cockerel here. I live in the city limits and can’t have a rooster. Also, this is my daughter’s favorite chicken. But, this Orpington looks different from our other, who is only a couple days younger. It is just over 8 weeks. It has a bigger comb and darker wattle.

Those are some good size wattles for 8 weeks. I'll tentatively say cockerel, but update in 2 more weeks.

On a side note - the feather quality on that lav is amazing. I see next to zero shredding. Where did you get them?

I live in northern CO and got them from a local feed supply store. I’m not sure where they get them from. His/her feathers usually look worse, honestly. It seems to depend on the day. 😐
