We both have cuckoo marans! Mine appear to be bigger than your cuckoo marans, whiche is weird because mine are only 9 - 10 weeks old.Is Nugget a boy or girl? I have no idea. The guy I got her from said a cuckoo maran but he was wrong on the other chicken I got from him. I'm new to chickens so I know nothing about what the breeds are suppose to look like exactly. He said it was a Splash Maran but it turned out to be Easter Egger or Ameracuana. I live in Colorado Springs. The guy is in Pueblo which is south of here.Wait... was your other chicken supposed to be an Ameraucana? If so, what city do you live in.
