Pullet or Cockerel?

I agree that IS a pullet, and will likely lay brown or tinted.

It isn't just the saddle feathers she isn't sporting... she also doesn't have any of the long hackle feathers. If statistics are accurate, I wouldn't expect her to be a great layer. But she should mature beautifully.

Her mother isn't a great layer. I hadn't planned on keeping her. I have a friend that fell in love with her and I just wanted to make sure it was a pullet before I gave her away..

She does look like she might be kind of barred too. Very interesting!

She has very light grey barring. She is a beautiful bird.

I have another chick in question. This is Katelyn. She was purchased at a Buckeye pullet. I noticed some rooster like tail feathers. She is around 20+ weeks old.

I saw her mount a hen today. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little heartbroken. I really wanted her to be a hen.

This is a Barred Rock and Blue Andulasian mix. It will be 15 weeks old this Saturday. I had originally thought it was a Pullet, now I'm not sure..
