Hello Y'all,
I wanted some help on determining what gender my 1-4day old chicks.
This first photo I Feathered tested and held it from its neck (was very gentle) and I am certain it is a cockerel (male). He has only one dark brown spot right on top of his head, not sure if this info helps....
The one looking at the camera was the 2nd born and under "her" is the 3rd born. We currently have another one in the incubator drying up and I believe the one under her is also a cockerel.... Feathered tested her and believe she is a female following googles pics.
The 3rd one under her I believe to be a cockerel only because his wings are smaller and is lighter than her.

Those methods of determining gender aren't always accurate, so going on comb/wattle development is most reliable. (though it takes more time and patience
