This was my first experiment hatching my own eggs in the incubator, I had almost a 4/6 hatch rate however one unfortunately passed away from hatching too early. I am now left with these three gorgeous birds, all from the same father and Penguin and Wheezy (given that name since his crow sounds like a wheeze) are full blooded siblings... except 2/3 are for SURE roosters because one crowed at only 2 weeks and the other one just started catching on today! They are only about 8 weeks old! (born July 7th) they are both so spunky! So tell me what you think about the 3rd one... a pullet or a cockerel? It's comb is definitely not bright red like Wheezy's I'm still so unsure, but lol! Please give me hope I have the worst luck with getting roosters :lau

I would guess pullet.

That only works on specific chickens, but does not work on most breeds.
Yep, when they first hatched I checked and determined both the two cockerels were actually pullets and Penguin was the rooster, however the feather development seems to be reversed in this case!
