I really want to crochet one of these but I only have four hens-not enough to warrant so many egg pockets! I'm hoping to get more in the spring-maybe then I'll finally have a justifiable reason to make one lol

Crochet one with how every many chickens you have. Then try it out.
Then add more rows, change it up.
If I Crochet one...all my eggs would come rolling out because it would be all crooked!!! Lol

Hmmmm.........Maybe I will! I could probably make my own pattern to fit me properly. I have four chickens but I'd like three more (correction: i'd like 232293403290 more but I have room for 3 more) to bad seven doesn't center well.
I think that for the crochet, it is just straight lines and you sew them on-at the bottom and where you want to separate the pockets.
