There’s no telling with feed store chickens good luck with colored eggs! Hope you get some pretty ones!Yeah aren't they fun! So they may have a similar "recipe". I got my eggs from a neighbor because I wanted colored eggs instead of my own beige ones. I hatched out a bunch of EE/OE eggs. I know the rooster was a black olive egger. I would imagine the mom looked like yours, than the extra black just didn't affect this one too much.
Thank you! I ended up selling all but two. One was lavender which I loved so I kept her and the other is 173 grams (the size of like a 3-4 week old chick), however they are 11 weeks old (CRAZY!). But I also got 2 white ameraucanas! So there is no doubt I will get some good blue colors soon! I cant wait.
