I wouldnt say my roos were calmer, less social with me maybe. The two that were the hardest to catch ended up being boys.My Easter eggers at the same age are very visible and I can tell them apart. Are silkies Roos a little more calm?
What a pretty chick! I have almost 8 week old silkies and what I believe to be an Easter Egger. The Easter egger started making crowing noises last week. This week he sounds like a cockerel. This morning my silkie rooster crowed very well. I don't know if this is typical. I didn't know they would crow this young. Perhaps if you don't hear something soon, you'll have an answer. Good luck!This is an Easter egger cross with silkie.
