Pullet or cockerel?

Now that I look at it some more, it could go either way. I still think pullet, though. I do have BR hens with combs that large, but not usually by 16 weeks. However, there are individual differences in hens. It's pretty dark for a cockerel, though. Here is one of my cockerels when he was 17 weeks old. The second one is his brother at 15 weeks old.

I say a pullet because I have a 18 week old pullet that is very advanced compared to my other chickens. She has the same size comb and waddles as yours, same feathering, ect. I've posted her picture twice and everyone agrees, pullet. Like people, I think some chickens just mature faster than others.

I will post a picture of the other 2 PR pullets tomorrow.

A big THANK YOU to all for taking the time and post your opinions.

And I do hope it's a pullet (since I definitely cannot have roosters)

The pictures are not that good, but here he/she is with his/her sister on the right. All the chicks in the pictures were born March 15.

Besides the 3 leghorns, this BR is the only one with a sizable comb.

Looks like a girl to me! Glad she turned out to be a hen! I have a hen that that looked just like her too at that age (comb and all!). Some BRs seem to mature quicker than others.
