Thanks... That wasn't what I was hoping at all... I only ordered 6 and they were supposed to be ALL PULLETS! I will try to get pics of the other 2 on here also. Maybe I was wrong about them.. But these were the main ones that I thought were cockerels...I think all four are cockerals - the red on the wings are typically (if not always.) males. Sorry. :/ Though, I am not an expert by any means.
X2, only 2 males, I used to have a pullet identical to number 3!1. Cockerel
2. Pullet
3. Pullet
4. Cockerel
As long as everyone gets along good and they arent paying too much attention your hens, I wouldnt get rid of any. But the minute one turns aggresive or my hens start getting bare backs, one would be gone, but that is just me.Oh thank you!!! I was sooo hoping that I would have some good pullets!!![]()
Chicks Galore3- haha thanks!!
Well, should I get rid of 1? Or should they get along since they have been together since birth? Or I guess I should say since 'hatch'. But anyways... I have a big coop and the chicken tractor that these guys are in and in the big coop, I have 10 hens.. 1 of them has a broken leg that she has had forever.. And then in the tractor I have 6 ee's and 5 golden comets. (and 2 royal palm turkeys) and loose, I have 2 old hens and 1 rooster. He is a big rhode island red rooster. Any ideas on how I could keep them all and not have problems? Oh and I would let the ones in the chicken tractor free range in the afternoons and lock them up when it gets dark.. Will my loose rooster hurt these roosters? Sorry for making this sooo long!!
