Pullet or Roo?

    Their tail feathers starting popping out pretty quick, much sooner than my previous chicks. So kinda made me wonder. Any thoughts?
    They were hatched feb 3rd, so just at 3 weeks.. 2 BO's and 2 Legghorns

    Way too soon to sex. I've got some black sexlinks, I'm sure are pullets, in my brooder and they've got tail feathers already (hatched 8 days ago).

    I'm not sure, but the brown one standing upright closest to us I think is a roo.

    I'm fairly certain they were not sex'd before I bought them. I bought from different place this time and later found out they had been ordered from out of state, shipped at a day old.

    Of the 7 "sex'd" I bought last year, 1 ended up a Roo. I found him a home. I rather not butcher unless necessary

    too soon wait a couple weeks until you can see the saddle feathers ect.[​IMG]

    they will look something like this thinner looking feathers coming from the neck ect.
