Pullet or Roo

Darn! Was hoping there was a chance he was a pullet given the rounded neck feathers coming in. Thank you!
You won't see rooster specific feathering until around 10-12 weeks. The coloring is more indicative of male though, as they tend to have more splashy and uneven coloration than females.
 
So here he is at 6 weeks…still thinking cockerel??

Ugh I agree. His wattles have grown a lot. He’s also very skittish compared to the pullet. I don’t know if that’s a gender thing or a breed thing but he’s hard to catch!
 
That’s a good point. They are all orpingtons and are much bigger than he is. They have no problem keeping each other in place so I’m sure the same applies to him!

I’ll post another photo at 8 weeks before I rehome him and will keep my fingers crossed that out of some stroke of luck he turns into a pullet!
