Pullet or Rooster?

That's what I thought. Everything I read said the trying to identify a rooster by comb or wattle is the least preferable way

Once they reach a certain age though, the larger male comb and wattles just get So much more noticeable than the females... On some breeds its easier to see than others. Then the sickle shaped feathers of the tail start popping out... And possibly the only reason yours isn't showing them is he hasn't grown them yet. He will though.

I'm still trying to determine if a couple of my brahma's are male, which I think I have at least two teenage cockerels and possibly three. At this point, I'm waiting for the crowing... with the combs and start of sickles I'm seeing on mine, crowing will be the confirmation.
