This has been making me laugh the last few days. My Legbar, Fancy, has been moving the fake eggs into one nest box. I guess she’s trying to make a clutch. I’ve been putting one in each box and she’s been putting them back how she likes. 🤣

OCD but in a chicken 🤣

Help me out here. How does a chicken move an egg? :idunno
I'd like to know, too. I had a broody move eggs from one covered cat litter box to another once, and I just can't figure out how she did it. That would have taken some epic vertical rolling skills and extreme dedication, unless I'm missing something. 😂

Here's what I think happens.

First, she looks both ways to make sure the coast is clear. Very carefully, she nudges the egg up under her wing. Holding her wing snugly to her body, she moves to the new location. Then, relaxing her wing oh-so-slowly, she sets it back down. Then she sings the egg song.

That way, nobody is the wiser. Huh, what? I didn't just take anyone else's egg, I just laid my own!
