Pullet seems "off", suggestions for head to toe check please

I have a 10 month old pullet (ameraucana) who has seemed just off for a few days now. She is late to get out of the coop, early to go in, seems just a little dazed. Today I saw her standing out in the rain, beside the rain shelter, alone and not foraging. When I went out to see why she was doing this, it took her a moment to even notice I was there.

I haven't had a chance to catch her yet, but she otherwise looks ok from a visual point of view. No obvious signs of injury, colour is good, eyes clear (if a little distant looking). She is with 8 other pullets of a similar age, none of them ar showing any signs of illness or strange behaviour.

She hasn't laid any eggs in several days, perhaps as long as a week. Not sure if this is part of the issue, I haven't seen her in the nest box or making any attempt to lay.

If anyone can please tell me the best way to go about diagnostic checking over of her body, I would appreciate it. This is the first chicken I have had who is "under the weather" and any pointers on what to look for when I catch her for an examination would be welcome.

TIA!

You might want to watch her, since she may be very low in the pecking order. She could be kept from water or food, and that could make her weak. Have you wormed the flock lately? What are they eating? Try to see if she could have a problem seeing or hearing. Check her crop first thing in the morning to make sure that it is emptying, and in the evening when it should be full. Look at her droppings for anything unusual. Make sure that she is eating and drinking well. Sometimes confining to a crate for 24 hours can make it easier to watch.
