I was given a 9 week old pullet. It was with about 55 other birds of same age and they noticed it was just sitting there. It was very thin and barely eating anything. She is better in that she is eating better, loves mealy worms and egg yolks. We have been giving her chick feed with vitamins as well as water with electrolytes and probiotics.
She IS eating much better , rather than sleeping, but she just sits down. She holds her head fine. No symptoms other than lack of appetite and emaciation, except when she breathes you can see the skin under her eyes go up and down. I think she had diarrhea at first but now her poops are pretty normal although a bit dry and poofy compared to the usual, also whiter than usual.
We once had an older hen who had that strange rise and fall of air in her face and she wasn't sick, so I don't know what that is. Also she now is keeping one eye shut but maybe she just hit it on her feed dish or has something in it. It doesn't look runny or infected, so not sure if it is a symptom. She seems content. Is she just weak? She will try to squiggle around a bit but is content to just sit and will eat and drink . It has been about 5 days since she came to us. I hope she is not contagious

I too hope she is not contagious.
Can you take some video of her and upload it to Youtube then post the link here?

I would try Rooster Booster by Poultry Cell.. it’s at TSC and on Amazon.. if it’s a vitamin B deficiency their legs can get wonky.. you can’t over treat they will only absorb what they need.. vitamin B isn’t in Nutridrench or the electrolytes. Good Luch with her ❤️

Where did she come from?
What breed is she?
Can you post some photos of her, the eyes and the poop?
Can she walk?
Video of the breathing would be good - upload to youtube, give us a link.

Same pullet as this one you started a thread about or completely different?https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/vit-e-dosage-for-wry-neck.1299802/
It would be a very good idea to keep any new birds you have brought in quarantined and practice bio-security between them and your existing flock.

I'm not sure what's doing on with this bird, but getting a fecal float would be a start - check for Coccidiosis.
