I plan to incubate 40 eggs how many pullets can I expect

same here. This last time I think I got more roos.

wether they are pullets or roosters depends on a lot of things.. what are their genes? after being around chickens for three generations (1 generation "me" that i've actually had contact with them) i've noticed that some familys produce more males then females. and others the opposite.. are they heavily inbred? a lot of heavily inbred lines can come out 20 pullets to a rooster. some 20 roosters to a pullet etc. also have heard what you feed them can make a difference in what they are im not sure if it works.. but by the news it works in humans. Why not animals too ? probably a lot more im just not sure on.. Try it and find out all i can say
